Itinerary

Day 01 (-/L/D) Kinabalu Park

• • 7.30am Meet and Greet at KK Airport/City. Proceed to Kinabalu Park which is a 2 hours drive across the mountainous Crocker Range with views of rolling hills and lush green countryside. Upon arrival in Kundasang, you will be amazed by the majestic Mount Kinabalu which is the fourth tallest mountain in South East Asia.
  • am/pm Next, proceed for a bird walk around the park headquarters. At an elevation of 1500m, it is a sheer birding experience as you search for the often heard but hard to spot Golden Nape Barbet endemic to Mount Kinabalu. An awe inspiring sight is the colourful Short Tail Green Magpie. As you continue along the trail, you will be greeted by the Chestnut Capped Laughing Thrush, Borneo Treepie, Indigo Flycatcher, White Throated Fantail.

Day 02 (B/L/-) Poring Hot Spring & Canopy Walk

  • am/pm After breakfast, proceed to Poring Hot Springs which is about 1 hour drive from the park where you can dip in the revitalizing hot sulphuric springs which is said to have healing properties for the skin. In Poring, one can also experience the walk across the 41 meter high Canopy
    Walkway which will provide you with a canopy view of the Borneo Rainforest flora and if one is lucky, wildlife can be spotted here.
