Highlights
Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, Halong Bay is one of Vietnam’s most spectacular natural wonders. The tiny limestone islands, with beaches and grottoes created by the wind and the waves, provide an excellent backdrop for relaxation and swimming. A 3.5-hour drive from Hanoi with a quick rest stop en route at a handicraft center (this place is quite touristy but the best stop available); you will reach Halong City by noon. Board your private junk to begin the cruise through the spectacular bay, stopping along the way to explore magnificent grottoes where stalactites hanging from the high ceiling form numerous designs and shapes. Whilst on board indulge in a delicious seafood meals
Tam Coc, (Three Caves ) is famously known as the “Little Guilin of China” and also called the Ha Long Bay-On-Land. Come on down to enjoy a breath-taking view of Tam Coc on a sampan rowed by the locals!

Itinerary
Day 01 (-/-/D) Halong Bay

- am/pm Meet & Greet at Hanoi Airport. Enjoy Hanoi City Tour which includes Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple (Jade mountain Temple), But Tower (Pen – shaped tower), Dai Nghien (Ink Stand), the Red – painted wooden and The Huc bridge )
- pm After lunch, visit Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam (Temple of Literature – The first Imperial school in Vietnam) built in 1070 during the dynasty of King Ly, transfer to Ha Long (03 hours road trip). Dinner at local restaurant.
- pm Overnight in Halong
Day 02 (B/L/D) Halong Bay – Hanoi

- am Breakfast
- am After Breakfast, travel east to Halong, one of the world’s wonders and probably the most stunning scenery in Vietnam. Enjoy Boat Cruise, cruising the Bay’s 2000 magnificent islands and islets and discovering one of its many mystical caves. Set Seafood Lunch will be served.
- pm Transfer back to Hanoi. Enjoy cyclo (pedicab) tour of Hanoi Old Quarters
- pm Enjoy Water Puppet Show & Overnight in Hanoi
Day 03 (B/L/D) Hanoi – Tam Coc – Bic Dong – Hanoi

- am Breakfast
- am After breakfast, drive to the historic complex of Ba Dinh. Visit Ba Dinh Square, where The Late President Ho Chi Minh declared Vietnams Independence on 2 September 1945, Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and One Pillar Pagoda.
- pm Transfer to Tam Coc. Upon arrival, take a tiny boat for a peaceful cruise along the river to Tam Coc (“Three Caves – The Vietnamese version of China Guilin”). Limestone islets of Halong Bay in the Tonkin Gulf are also clearly and vividly observed. (Tam Coc is also called Ha Long-Bay-On-Land). Visit Bich Dong. Lunch will be served
- pm Overnight in Hanoi
